  • An organisational culture focused on prioritising clinician wellbeing
  • Flexible days and hours available
  • The best Administration team there is

The Opportunity

At The Hummingbird Centre, we're looking for a compassionate Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Registrar to join our clinical team.

This role involves providing assessment and therapy across the lifespan, with plenty of room to focus on your areas of interest. You'll have access to generous professional development opportunities - including supervision from local, national, and international experts - plus ongoing in-house training through the Hummingbird Professional Development Network.

You'll see a sustainable caseload of around six sessions or equivalent report-writing hours per day, so your workload is structured and manageable.

About Us

Our vision is simple: to connect as many people as possible to healing by nurturing, supporting, and developing our clinicians.

We are a multi-disciplinary team of Psychologists, Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, Sexologists, Psychiatrists, and Administrative Support staff working together to provide high-quality mental health care across the lifespan.

At Hummingbird, we value integrity, innovation, collaboration, and wisdom. Our name is inspired by the hummingbird - a symbol of resilience, courage, and healing.

Benefits

  • A sustainable caseload (around 6 sessions or report hours per day)
  • Flexibility to design your week - full-time, part-time, or contracting roles available
  • Significant professional development budget + access to extensive free training
  • Supervision and support from national and international experts
  • A collaborative, positive culture that prioritises clinician wellbeing
  • An admin team who makes your work life easier so you can focus on clients
  • Opportunities to specialise in your areas of interest (e.g., assessment, trauma, perinatal, neurodiversity)

About You

You're a compassionate clinician who brings warmth, curiosity, and professionalism to your work. You value collaboration and want to grow in a supportive, wellbeing-focused environment.

You'll also have:

  • AHPRA registration (or working toward this as a Registrar)
  • Eligibility for Medicare registration
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Current Police, Working With Children, and Criminal Record checks

How to Apply

If you feel you'd be a great addition to the team, apply now via SEEK with your CV and a cover letter detailing your suitability for the role.
