Toys and Tales is a proudly family-owned business with locations across Sydney. We specialise in offering a carefully curated selection of unique toys from around the world. Our extensive range includes toys, games, puzzles, and lifestyle products suitable for all ages—from newborns to adults.

Our vibrant Marrickville store is currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic team member to join us on a casual basis. Be advised that these are full-day shifts (e.g. 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and are not suitable for school-aged applicants. During the Christmas period (October - January) we require full availability to ensure all shifts are covered during the busiest period of the retail year.

Key Responsibilities:

● Delivering outstanding customer service

● Receiving and processing deliveries

● Packing and dispatching online orders

● Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation

● Ensuring a clean, welcoming, and organised store environment

Essential Requirements:

● Previous retail and customer service experience

● A genuine enthusiasm for working with children—creating a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages learning, play, and growth.

● Experience in visual merchandising

● Flexible availability, and the ability to take on extra shifts in the lead-up to Christmas.
