Profile

  • 3 to 15 years of experience in Health & Safety roles within the construction or infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 45001, OHSAS, etc.)
  • Experience on large-scale or complex construction projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English; French or other languages are a plus
  • High mobility and willingness to work on international assignments

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify risks and non-conformities
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and company standards
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for new workers
  • Analyze work methods and propose safer alternatives in collaboration with site teams
  • Monitor high-risk activities (e.g. lifting operations, work at height, confined spaces)
  • Manage and follow up on incident and near-miss reports, including root cause analysis
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment
  • Support subcontractors in implementing their HSE plans and procedures
  • Promote behavioral safety and encourage proactive reporting of unsafe conditions
