Dental Assistant – Sutherland Dental

Sutherland Dental is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team in Sutherland. This is a full-time position, with prior dental assisting experience preferred.

The Role

  • Chairside assisting
  • Reprocessing and sterilising instruments
  • Preparing rooms for clinical treatment
  • Stock control and ordering
  • Maintaining infection control standards and procedures
  • Assisting with a wide range of dental treatments
  • Contributing to our positive patient-focused and team-oriented culture
  • Experience with Core Practice Dental Software preferred (training provided)

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

  • Flexibility to assist across different roles within the clinic when required
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Experience in a modern dental practice (2-chair practice experience valued but not essential)
