In March 2023 Deakin Private Hospital opened as iMH's first private mental health hospital. Deakin Private Hospital expands our footprint into ACT, with stage one delivering 52 beds, including a 12 bed PTSD/Trauma Support Unit for Military and First Responders.

We are seeking general services officers for our cleaning department. The successful candidates will demonstrate maturity, leadership and professionalism, working within a flexible, dynamic environment.

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable People (ACT)
  • Recent AFP National Police Check
  • Flexibility to workday, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts essential (rotating roster)
  • Comply with the Infection Control Standards, as set in the iMH Infection Control Policy Practice and Guidelines Manual
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service, maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, and uphold professional presentation standard of Aurora Employees at all times
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven effective time management skills and the ability to handle a busy workload
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Comply with the requirements of the iMH WHS Safety Management System, in which to enhance patients, staff and visitors comfort and safety
  • Hospital cleaning experience preferred
