Ensure timely delivery within budget, and meet quality standardsDevelop and manage capital works budgets, forecasting expenditures, controlling costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies ensuring effective communication, seamless workflow, and adherence to project requirementsIdentify potential risks and issues related to capital works projects, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulationsOversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contractors and suppliers ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project timelinesPrepare and present regular progress reports, project updates, and financial summaries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation throughout the project lifecycleStaying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in capital works management.
