We're looking for a strong team player and passionate talented engineer to join our team to work as a Test Engineer (Test & Compliance) in a full time permanent capacity in our headquarter in Lonsdale, SA.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include.
- Support New Product Development as a Test & Compliance Representative.
- Work closely with Design Engineers to improve REDARC products, with the focus being on product testing. This may involve performance testing of prototypes or design elements of a product as well as verification testing of the final product.
- Follow laboratory processes including those supporting ISO 17025 NATA accreditation.
- Support Change Management (Change Orders), Testing as a Service and Lab improvements.
- Review requirements, test processes, test parameters in compliance with standards.
- Support taking existing products to new markets through testing and/or assessments.
- Take initiative and participate in process improvement activities.
- Develop, execute, and record high standard product test plans (DVP&R) by performing a range of tests.
- Ensure WHS and environmental policies are adhered to and raise any non-conformances.
- Undertake other reasonable tasks as identified by T&C Team Leader or Manager.
About You
You will be tertiary qualified in engineering and essentially you have:
- Understanding of engineering processes and electronics design.
- Technical writing skills.
- Familiar with/skilled in interpreting test standards.
- Formulation of technical specifications.
Desirably, you have:
- Practical (automotive) engineering experience.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality standard, and ISO 17025 Laboratory standard.
- Affinity with system engineering.
- Basic project management skills.
Clearances
