About the RoleWe are currently seeking qualified and experienced Sprinkler Fitters to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler systems and associated fire protection infrastructure. You'll work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and relevant codes.
We are also open to licensed plumbers with fire protection experience who are interested in expanding their career into sprinkler fitting. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help the right candidate transition into this specialised trade.
What You'll Be Working OnYou will be supported with training and ongoing development and will work with systems such as:
- Fire Sprinkler Systems – wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
- Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels
- Fire Pumps and Pump Sets
- Flow Testing and Commissioning of Sprinkler Installations
- Minor Pipework Modifications and Rectification Work
We're looking for motivated individuals with a background in fire protection plumbing or sprinkler fitting. Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems (or plumbing experience with exposure to fire protection works and a willingness to learn)
- A minimum of 1–2 years of sprinkler fitting experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to interpret plans and work within regulatory compliance
- A trade qualification in Sprinkler Fitting or Fire Protection Plumbing (Cert III or equivalent) – or Cert III in Plumbing with relevant fire experience and interest in specialising
- A current manual driver's licence
- White Card and industry-related tickets (e.g. Working at Heights, EWP)
- Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Above-award wages plus overtime and on-call allowances
- Fully maintained company vehicle, uniform, and phone
- Ongoing training and support, with opportunities for advancement

As we work in NSW Health facilities, compliance with NSW Health employment requirements is essential. Candidates must meet all standard NSW Health employment requirements including health screening, security clearance, and vaccination requirements.
