As the IT Infrastructure Team Lead you will be responsible for the architecture, reliability, and scalability of Audinate's network and cloud infrastructure. In addition to leading day-to-day operations, you'll drive infrastructure modernization, support engineering tooling, and implement resilient, secure solutions aligned to best practices in system design and information security.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, and deep knowledge in network design, virtualization, cloud orchestration, containerization, monitoring, and cybersecurity.
As a leader, you'll foster strong collaboration, technical excellence and a culture of accountability and innovation within the infrastructure team. In this role you will
- Design, manage, and optimize corporate infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SDWAN and WIFI networks.
- Lead the implementation and management of on-premise hybrid hosting platforms, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS, to support the objectives of cloud application development teams.
- Provide robust support for engineering tooling, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
- Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for infrastructure growth and improvement, aligning with business objectives.
- Serve as a technical adviser to the Cybersecurity Working Group, providing insights and recommendations to enhance security measures
- Proven experience in managing cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDWAN, and hybrid hosting environments.
- In depth knowledge of IP networking theories, concepts, design and implementation.
- Expertise in IaC tools and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support and optimize engineering tooling.
- Experience leading teams managing IT Infrastructure, virtualization and cloud computing services.
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and ability to communicate effectively with various business units, both technical and non-technical.
