Join one of Australia's most successful and innovative tech companies in this lead role, taking responsibility for the architecture, performance and scalability of the company's network and cloud infrastructure. This award-winning, ASX listed R&D group dominates the world in its industry sector and is looking for a talented team leader with expert skills in Linux, networking and cloud engineering.

Responsibilities include designing, supporting and optimising LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and WIFI networks; implementing and managing on-premise hybrid hosting platforms; working closely with software engineering teams to design, implement and maintain cloud (AWS) platforms supporting industry-leading SaaS and PaaS applications; and managing a small team of SRE engineers.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A strong Linux background
  • Experience managing AWS cloud platforms, transitioning products to the cloud
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDWAN and hybrid hosting environments
  • Experience with IP network design and implementation
  • Strong experience with virtualisation, containerisation, orchestration, CI/CD systems, monitoring, tooling, scripting (e.g., Python, Typescript, Go, shell), IaC, devsecops
  • Superior leadership, communication and problem solving skills
  • A computer science or equivalent degree
