Position:
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Building Designer / Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Produce detailed design drawings, documentation, and 3D models for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
· Coordinate DA, CC, and CDC submissions, liaising with councils, consultants, and clients locally and internationally.
· Apply knowledge of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, and local planning requirements.
· Develop design concepts for complex and large-scale projects, including high-rise residential, luxury resorts, hospitality venues, and recreational spaces.
· Prepare construction documentation, specifications, and tender packages.
· Ensure design accuracy, functionality, and compliance throughout all project stages.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Design, or related field.
· 5-8 years' professional design and drafting experience across multiple project types (residential, high-rise, hospitality, resorts, plays paces, interiors, and commercial).
· Proven ability to adapt design to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
· Advanced proficiency in Revit (BIM), Dynamo, Rhino, 3Ds Max, Twinmotion, Lumion, and Adobe
· Creative Suite.
· Proven ability to adapt design to diverse cultural and regulatory environments (experience across Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe highly regarded).
· Strong technical drafting and detailing knowledge.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from concept to completion.
Desirable Skills:
· Experience leading design teams and mentoring junior designers.
· Familiarity with AI and digital design workflows.
· Portfolio showcasing high-quality or internationally recognised projects.
Salary:
AUD $80,000 – $100,000 + superannuation (depending on skills and experience).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sylvania NSW 2224: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- DESIGN : 5 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- DRIVING LICENSE (Preferred)
