Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Clinical or Health Psychologist to join the Allied Health Psychology department.

This role will provide valuable opportunities for enhanced knowledge and insight into specialist rehabilitation psychology, pain management and complex case approaches in a multidisciplinary context.

You would join a cohesive team of passionate, dedicated and progressive psychologists working together to provide high quality psychological services. Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role will involve:

  • Working across outpatient services
  • Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical consultation

This is an ongoing part-time (0.4 EFT, 30.4 hours per fortnight) position.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative style

  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in public health and/or rehabilitation settings
