The ROLE
- Oversee multiple workshops across Tasmania and Queensland.
- Lead, motivate and mentor Workshop Supervisors and technical teams.
- Ensure all workshops operate to high standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to maximise the efficiency and reliability of our fleet.
- Oversee KPI's, budgets and productivity to improve cost effectiveness across all workshops.
- Key stakeholder engagement with a solid customer focused approach for both internal & external customers.
- Ensure commercial targets are within budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Promote and support a safety culture that effectively manages risks in line with company's policies and procedures whilst achieving continuous improvement.
About YOU
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior leadership role within a workshop environment or related area.
- Ability to review data trends and drive performance improvements.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and management skills including the ability to advocate change and win over resistance.
- Sound knowledge of plant and equipment typically associated with heavy industry applications.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exposure to a diverse range of mobile assets typically associated with the heavy mechanical industry.
- Relevant industry qualifications to provide support to the wider teams.
