We are seeking suitably qualified forklift drivers to assist with bump-in, event days, and bump-out. Regular work will be available in November. This role is labour-intensive and involves lifting and shifting, although there may be days when physical labour is not required.

On-site responsibilities include loading beverages into cold rooms, delivering equipment to corporate suites, setting up retail bars, arranging temporary kitchen equipment, and performing general event labour tasks.

Preference will be given to candidates who can work multiple days per week throughout the event, as we are looking for a consistent team to cover bump-in/restock Event day Operations and bump-out.

DUTIES

- Manual Handling - lifting, shifing, stacking etc.

- Receive and store deliveries – check quantities against invoice or delivery

- Unloading stock from reefer and stacking stock

- Distribute food/beverage/equipment /furniture/consumables

- Drive vehicles with secured loads

- Ensure all assets are always locked and secured

- Count stock as necessary

- Remove and correctly dispose of waste as required

- Follow any other reasonable direction.

- Escalate issues/incidents/near misses to direct supervisor/manager as necessary

- Ensure safety of self and others at all times

REQUIREMENTS

- Valid driver's license

- Valid White card

- Physically fit

- Comfortable working outdoors

- High-visibility vest

- Steel-capped boots

- Able and comfortable working in a team

- Able to follow instructions

- Hard Hat

- LO/LF/HR Work Ticket
