We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Project Manager, IT to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects that drive digital transformation, improve operations, and elevate experience for our members and employees.

About the Role

In this role, you'll lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical projects across multiple platforms and teams. Acting as the bridge between technical specialists and business stakeholders, you'll ensure alignment, transparency, and measurable results. You won't manage people directly, but your influence, coaching, and leadership will shape outcomes across the organisation.

This is an 18-month fixed-term role with the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver technology projects that align with business goals and IT strategy
  • Define project scopes, resource plans, budgets, timelines, and success metrics
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, and interdependencies
  • Drive governance and reporting through structured frameworks and agile ceremonies
  • Integrate change management activities with the support of a Change Specialist
  • Support adoption of new systems and processes via communication, training, and engagement
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimise efficiency and operations

About You

You're an organised and outcome-driven project leader who thrives in complex technical environments. You bring a big-picture mindset, combined with hands-on delivery capability. You're not just a project manager; you're a trusted advisor, coach, and collaborator.

You'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated success managing IT/technical projects from end to end
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK)
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments
  • A solid understanding of cloud platforms, SDLC, and integration projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to coach, influence, and drive alignment across multiple levels of an organisation
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit or member-based organisation (ideal, not essential)
