Enerven delivers electrical infrastructure and telecommunications solutions that are vital to connecting communities across Australia. Our design, construction, and maintenance services ensure reliable power generation, transmission, and distribution to homes and businesses nationwide – and our commitment to renewable energy and resilient grid infrastructure sets us apart.
The expertise and dedication of our people spans the entire electricity network, so careers at Enerven are defined by meaningful contributions and impactful work.
At Enerven, we're connecting you with tomorrow.
About the role
What began as a South Australian business has evolved into a national success story — and we're just getting started. To support this momentum, we're making significant investments in the support functions that underpin our project delivery success. These teams are critical — not only to delivering the projects we've already secured, but also to positioning Enerven for sustainable, long-term growth.
As part of this evolution, we're reimagining our Human Resources function to be a true strategic partner in our business. This transformation is about building capability, fostering an exceptional employee experience, and driving a high-performance culture that enables our people — and our business — to thrive.
In this newly created role, you'll play an integral part in supporting the HR team as we drive this exciting transformation. Acting as the backbone of the function, you'll provide vital support across HR Operations, Training, and Talent — helping to streamline processes, remove roadblocks, and enable the team to focus on delivering high-impact initiatives.
Day to day you will provide a broad range of administrative support, including:
- Preparing and managing employment documentation, including contracts, offers, extensions, secondments, and probation outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting for training, accreditation, and compliance requirements across employees and subcontractors
- Booking and tracking training sessions to meet internal and regulatory compliance standards
- Coordinating induction programs and support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, job postings, and pre-employment checks
- Managing procurement tasks such as booking, ordering, and processing payments for HR-related goods and services
- Maintaining organised and confidential HR records, including electronic filing and archiving
- Responding to employee queries with professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring sensitive data (e.g., remuneration) is handled appropriately
- Providing administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, including performance review cycles, culture surveys, systems improvements, and more
About you
You are a proactive HR Administrator looking to join a dynamic, high-performing People & Culture team.
Whether you are a recent HR graduate looking to kickstart your HR career, or a seasoned HR Administration Rock Star - your input will be highly valued, and your ongoing development supported.
You will bring:
- Experience in similar HR Support roles
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to stay cool, calm and collected (and thrive) in a fast paced, high-performing team environment
- A can-do attitude and the desire to learn and grow within the HR space
- Qualifications in HR will be highly regarded, but definitely not essential
If you're looking to gain exposure across the full spectrum of the HR function, and work alongside a high-performing, collaborative, and forward-thinking HR team, this role offers the perfect platform.
