ABOUT THE ROLES

We're looking for a motivated and reliable team player to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate machinery and support the day-to-day production process to help us achieve our quality, safety, and efficiency goals. You'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly — from machine setup and monitoring to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is eager to support and coach others as part of a collaborative team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate multiple machines or process stations to achieve production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Coordinate tasks, materials, and process setups to ensure smooth and consistent workflow.
• Support and mentor new or less experienced team members to build their skills and confidence.
• Monitor performance metrics such as throughput, yield, downtime, and changeovers — identifying and escalating opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues and liaise with maintenance or supervisors when needed.
• Participate in changeovers, calibrations, cleaning, and pre-start checks to minimise downtime and maintain readiness.
• Accurately record production data, including yield, quality checks, downtime, and material usage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, waste reduction, and housekeeping (5S).
• Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and food safety standards and procedures.
• Provide coverage or support for line/process lead duties when required.

REMUNERATION

Competitive hourly rate on offer.

ROSTER

Monday to Friday roster with staggered start times:

5.30am - 1.46pm

6:00am - 2.16pm

• Experience in operating machinery with precision and efficiency in a high-volume meat processing environment.
• Skilled in meat preperation and processing, ensuring quality and consistency in a fast paced facility.
• Unlimited working rights within Australia.

• Drivers license and reliable vehicle, or reliable means of getting to work.
