What You Will Be Doing

As our Merchandise Planner, you will be the bridge between finance, buying, and store operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Forecasting: Developing and maintaining accurate sales, stock, and profit forecasts for your designated product categories.
• Inventory Optimization: Driving efficiency by managing stock levels, ensuring optimal allocation, and minimizing obsolescence.
• In-Season Management: Analysing performance, identifying trends, and recommending timely actions to maximize margin and hit targets.
• Relationship Building: Collaborating closely with Buyers to develop range plans and commercial strategies that align with company goals.
• Driving Profit: Playing a critical role in Open-to-Buy (OTB) management and ensuring inventory flows deliver on our financial goals.

Who We're Looking For?

We're searching for a commercially savvy individual who:

• Has 2+ years of experience as a Merchandise Planner, Assistant Planner, or similar analytical/inventory-focused role, preferably in a large-scale retail environment.
• Is highly proficient with retail planning systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables are second nature).
• Possesses exceptional analytical ability and can translate complex data into clear, commercial strategies.
• Is an excellent communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is deadline-driven.
