About the Role

CMV Farms Loxton-Fielkes are looking for casual Orchard Operators to assist with with hands-on tasks associated with this fully developed almond orchard situated in the South Australian Riverland town of Loxton. The successful applicant would ideally be available to work some weekends and shift work when required throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tractor operation and general machinery maintenance
  • Irrigation maintenance
  • Orchard maintenance and field work
  • Land/soil preparation, spraying of fertilizer and pesticide solutions
  • Orchard development work

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in farm machinery operation, including tractor experience
  • Certified in the use of chemicals preferred
  • Team player and willingness to learn new skills
  • Safety-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Drivers Licence essential
  • Must have fulltime Australian work rights
