About the Opportunity

The Equity Team Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for delivering and evaluating clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse & Midwifery Educators and Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes for pregnant women with complex needs.

• Current Nursing registration National Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), and relevant postgraduate qualifications related to the specialty area of Child and Family Health, with at least 3 years recent clinical experience working with children and their families or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience providing evidence-based health promotion, assessment, prevention and early intervention services to children and their families, particularly those experiencing vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development of clinical management plans in consultation with health and social services.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision-making, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and within an interagency context to provide high quality integrated care to children and families.
• Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
