Qualified Landscaper – Leading Hand Opportunity

Jigsaw Landscapes is a well-established landscape construction company based in Gisborne and servicing the beautiful Macedon Ranges. We deliver high-quality residential projects of all sizes and pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and supportive team culture.

We're seeking a Qualified Landscaper to join our young, hardworking crew. Someone who's confident with their trade, takes pride in their work, and is able to help Lead daily site operations while work hands-on to deliver outstanding results.


What You'll Be Doing

Working directly with, or reporting to, the company owner, you will:

  • Oversee daily workflow, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise and support a team of 1 - 4 landscapers / apprentices
  • Work alongside the team on hard & soft landscaping including but not limited to:

Paving, retaining walls, turf installation, irrigation, decking, concreting, earthmoving, planting, and more

  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and site presentation
  • Assist with ordering and receiving materials

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years experience in landscape construction
  • 1–2 years' experience in a leading hand role well regarded
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional skills in Hard landscaping
  • Driver's licence essential (HR licence highly regarded)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Stong communication, teamwork and time management skills
  • Physically fit to undertake the work
  • Ability to operate machinery (Bobcat / excavator tickets well regarded)
