Operating from within Water Supply Regulation, you will lead a small team in the regulation of service providers to assure drinking and recycled water quality and the regulation of service performance.

  • Research, investigate and analyse complex matters associated with the regulation of drinking water and recycled water.
  • Guide and train staff to ensure consistent application of work systems, regulatory processes and procedures and oversee development of new systems as required.
  • Prepare high quality correspondence, briefs, submissions, reports, statutory notices and compliance reviews with the ability to clarify complex matters.
  • Promote protection of public health in Queensland water supplies through the development of sound relationships with regulated entities, including visiting regulated entities in regional and remote areas to provide regulatory support and advice.
