Premier Electrical Group is seeking a part time, experienced and reliable Contracts Administrator to support our business operations on the Mornington Peninsula. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This opportunity will be part time working 3 to 4 days per week with flexibility on days and working times. Simpro & Groundplan experience is essential

Position Description

We are looking for a competent Contracts Administrator to help with organization and running of the daily Contracts Administration of the company. This role will encompass ad-hoc administration duties, HR responsibilities including conducting interviews and performance reviews as well as sales and business development. Responsibilities

  • Set up Pojects, Quotes and tender packages in Simpro
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure
  • Assist with subcontractor management
  • Prepare progress claims in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Prepare Project Reports
  • Implement new policies and communicate with team
  • Conduct interviews and performance reviews as required
  • Distribute communications to broader team
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Maintain trusting relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Business development and hunting for new customers
  • Organise office and assist director with administration duties

Requirements:

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Administrative or secretarial skills
  • Evaluation skills
  • An eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and omissions at a glance
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of contract law
  • Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • SimPro experience is advantageous
  • The ability to learn quickly and master internal contracts management systems
  • The ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure
