Premier Electrical Group is seeking a part time, experienced and reliable Contracts Administrator to support our business operations on the Mornington Peninsula. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This opportunity will be part time working 3 to 4 days per week with flexibility on days and working times. Simpro & Groundplan experience is essential

Position Description
We are looking for a competent Contracts Administrator to help with organization and running of the daily Contracts Administration of the company. This role will encompass ad-hoc administration duties, HR responsibilities including conducting interviews and performance reviews as well as sales and business development. Responsibilities
- Set up Pojects, Quotes and tender packages in Simpro
- Management and tracking of project expenditure
- Assist with subcontractor management
- Prepare progress claims in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Prepare Project Reports
- Implement new policies and communicate with team
- Conduct interviews and performance reviews as required
- Distribute communications to broader team
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Maintain trusting relationships with customers and suppliers
- Business development and hunting for new customers
- Organise office and assist director with administration duties
Requirements:
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Administrative or secretarial skills
- Evaluation skills
- An eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and omissions at a glance
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A strong understanding and knowledge of contract law
- Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- SimPro experience is advantageous
- The ability to learn quickly and master internal contracts management systems
- The ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure
