We are seeking for multiple experienced and dedicated Production Line Operators within the production area who are dedicated to ensuring the efficient running of our manufacturing processes. You'll work closely with your team and supervisors to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance.

Your Role:

  • Supervise and provide direction and guidance to other employees including the provision of on‑the‑job training and induction.
  • Engage all employees in problem solving, focusing them on the right problems and guiding them through the thinking process.
  • Ensure compliance with Product Specifications for imported and domestic honeys and finished good products destined for domestic, export and medical honey markets.
  • Proficient in and be responsible for the running of all packing equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is running at specified speed (rate BPM). Action any variances with Maintenance and Production Supervisor.
  • Complete Line changes within allocated timeframes and standards.
  • Good manufacturing compliance (GMP) of work area to be monitored and any non-compliances actioned. Work areas to be clean and tidy (clean as you go).
  • Fill out daily production records and other reports, showing problems encountered and solutions suggested or implemented as required.
  • Ensure the packing room, all machinery and their surrounds are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Daily clean down procedures are to be maintained.
  • Take advice and direction from the Maintenance division on sound and effective operation of equipment.
  • Carry out other duties as directed by the Production Chief Line Operator and Production Supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Natural Leader who thrives in guiding and motivating a team of 4-6 people
  • Line Operating experience
  • A Problem-Solver who can think outside the box to tackle challenges
  • Mechanical Aptitude with an interest in technology-driven solutions
  • Experience in Manufacturing and preferably in FMCG (bonus points if you've worked with fast-paced, automated systems)
  • Basic Computer Skills for smooth documentation and reporting
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Working hours:

Day Shift 6:00am until 2:30pm with opportunities for overtime.
