About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty (HD) Diesel Mechanic to join our team at TMF Group PTY LTD in Port Hedland, Western Australia. This is a full-time position (casual options available also) that will see you working on a range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, earthmoving machinery, and other industrial vehicles.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty diesel equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Completing detailed work orders and maintaining accurate records
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to maintenance procedures
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in Automotive Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or a related field
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engine systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • HR license & Forklift license desired but not essential
