The Role:

Are you qualified & experienced Enrolled Nurse? Join our dedicated team at Doutta Gala Aged Services, where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

We have opportunities for Enrolled Nurse working in our aged care facility, you'll be a key part of our clinical care team, delivering person-centered support facilities in West Melbourne enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care and support in line with individual care plans.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately under scope of practice.
  • Observe and document residents' health, behaviour, and responses to care.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, and families.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents that promote trust and comfort.
  • Support daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.

The Successful Candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA.
  • 2-3 years of experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in an aged care environment will be highly desirable.
  • A passion for aged care and improving the lives of older Australians.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
