The Company

SaaS Product Company is seeking a talented Senior PHP Full-Stack Engineer to join their fast growing, Sydney based Software Development team.

This Australian owned organisation is already well established within its industry in ANZ and enjoying success and growing in North America and Asia.

The Role

You will play a key role in designing, developing robust and scalable infrastructure that powers market leading software solutions in a highly collaborative environment, contributing to the evolution of B2B SaaS products.

While this role is Full Stack, there is a leaning towards backend focused development, although skills across front end will also be needed. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer who can architect while holding a vision in their head and have the ability to lead a squad in the successful and quick delivery of core features.

You will step up to become the Development Lead's right-hand, an engineer who can be trusted to meet delivery deadlines and make architectural choices on the go which align with the Development Lead's core vision. 

You will need

  • 5+ years' experience in PHP development
  • Previous experience of working on B2B SaaS products
  • Strong experience in Laravel Framework, MongoDB, SQL Relational Databases & REST APIs
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript (Angular) & HTML/CSS
  • Experience across the full SDLC from requirements analysis to design, development, testing and implementation
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns
  • Version Control Systems such as GIT and SVN
  • Previous experience in a Tech Lead role desirable
  • IT Degree highly regarded
