Assistant Centre Administration Officer (Clerk – General Scale)

Location: Goulburn, NSW

Duration: 12-month contract (03/11/2025 – 02/11/2026)

Pay Rate: $33.00 p.h + super  (flat rate, PAYG)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)

Working with Children: Not required

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Centre Administration Officer to join a government institution in Goulburn. This is a full-time, fixed-term position suitable for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who enjoys working in a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to centre staff.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records, data entry, and document management.
  • Handle correspondence, file maintenance, and scheduling duties.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the centre.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.

About You

  • Previous administrative experience in a professional or government setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
