Architectural Designer/Draftsperson

About the Role

As a Draftsperson, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings, on-site building surveying and working closely with the owner/director.

Key Responsibilities

• Design detailing and production of concept, DA, CC, construction and contract drawings using ArchiCAD.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders such as builders, consultants and Councils.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes
• Maintain drawing documentation and version control

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 3 years' drafting or designing experience (industry-specific experience highly regarded)
• Experience and knowledge of ArchiCAD
• Drivers Licence and own vehicle
• Diploma qualification or willingness to enrol in a distance education programme
• Must be located within 50km of Bathurst
• Valid Australian work visa or citizenship required
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of relevant building codes
