Terminal Operator / Reach Stacker Operator – Melbourne Freight Terminal

  • Permanent Full-Time 
  • Rotating Roster - Day and Night

Every day, Pacific National moves the goods that keep Australia moving – from intermodal containers to coal, steel, and bulk commodities. We're now on the lookout for a safety-focused, hands-on Terminal Operator / Reach Stacker Operator to join our team at the Melbourne Freight Terminal.

This is your chance to be part of a high-performing, inclusive team that plays a critical role in keeping freight moving across the country.

What You'll Do
  • Operate Reach Stackers and other terminal equipment to load/unload containerised rail freight and trucks
  • Work in a 24/7 rail yard environment on a rotating shift roster
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations at all times
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets
What You'll Bring
  • C Class Driver's Licence (essential)
  • High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Experience operating Reach Stackers or working in a terminal/warehouse environment (advantageous)
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
