Are you a passionate hospitality professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an energetic and experienced Café Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team at a bustling café located within one of Canberra's most iconic cultural destinations.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll oversee the day-to-day café operations, ensuring every customer enjoys exceptional service and quality food and beverages. You'll support and motivate your team, manage stock and cash handling, and uphold the highest standards in presentation, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead daily café operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Oversee rostering, cash handling, and stock management.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure consistent service and smooth operations.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements.

About You

  • Proven experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive leader who leads by example.
  • Barista skills and a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
