We're partnering with a growing organisation seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Officer for a 6-month contract. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy improving processes while delivering accurate financial support, this is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Process payroll, invoices, and expense claims accurately and on time
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and legislation
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Provide financial advice and support to management

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
