Adelaide Independent Glass are seeking a Full Time Glass Despatch Supervisor to join our team preferably with glass handling experience.

In this role.....

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive hands on Despatch Supervisor to oversee our logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient and timely dispatch of goods while maintaining optimal communication between various teams. As a key player in our logistics department, you will lead a team of dispatchers, manage workflow, and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is required that you have…

Glass handling experience

  • MR truck license
  • Forklift license
  • Scheduling experience
  • Glass handling experience (required)
  • Glass processing experience (preferred)
  • Glazing experience (an advantage)
  • Assist with the loading of glass for deliveries
  • Organise run sheets and deliveries for drivers
  • Assist with deliveries when required
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Help ensure that that jobs are processed and ready for delivery on time
  • Basic knowledge of computer usage (so they can be taught how to use Spil)
  • Monitor all outgoing and incoming orders
  • Assist customers with pick up orders
  • Experience with manufacturing/processing machinery
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Quality focused and driven with a high attention to detail
  • Safety conscious, ensuring a safe work environment
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player
