About the Role:

We are seeking experienced HVAC Mechanics to join our client's expanding team. This field-based role will focus on providing preventative maintenance, service, and installation solutions across commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Your primary responsibility will involve performing diagnostic repairs and preventative maintenance---spanning commercial, retail, hotel, and industrial environments. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, including project managers and service coordinators, to ensure exceptional customer service and system reliability.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with diverse commercial HVAC&R systems while advancing your technical expertise in a supportive team environment. Strong diagnostic skills and commercial system experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Conduct fault diagnosis and repair work across diverse commercial environments

Complete installations of HVAC&R equipment and components

Provide technical service support to commercial, retail, hotel, and industrial clients

Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency service requirements

Maintain accurate service records and documentation using company systems

Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations

Communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations

Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years' experience in commercial HVAC&R systems

Expertise in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration (diagnostic and repair)

Relevant trade qualifications and licenses (ARCtick, QLD Restricted Electrical)

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial HVAC&R maintenance and installation procedures

Experience with fault diagnosis and problem-solving on commercial systems

Manual Driver's Licence and ability to operate company vehicles

White Card certification and ability to obtain Blue Card

Basic computer literacy (simPRO experience advantageous)

Must be Australian resident or citizen at time of commencement
