Role Description

We seek a Senior High Voltage Engineer to join our team full-time on-site at O'Brien Electrical Engineering and Contractors in Ballarat. In this role, you will:

• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Design and implement Primary circuits and Protection systems.
• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and fault response testing and analysis of results.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting fault analysis using protection relay software and test results
• Experience in High Voltage primary design
• Experience in protection and earth system design using software and test results
• Knowledge of onsite testing, using secondary & primary injection test sets
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication. collaboration and leadership skills
• Project supervision
• Balance of plant maintenance experience
• Key Client Management
• Business Development & Continuous Improvement Mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in High Voltage project estimation
