We are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

  • Accounting Software (XERO) operation, including general and sub-ledger management and interaction

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

  • Prepare general financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

  • AP/AR

  • Bookkeeping

  • Issue of invoices

  • Reimbursement handling

  • Asset register

  • Payroll processing and other payroll matters

  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements

  • Use of legislative portals such as ATO

  • Administration support to Director and Accountant

  • Manage office supplies and inventory.

  • Handle correspondence and communication.

  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Has high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Intermediate Level of Microsoft suit

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work

  • Reliable, punctual, efficient and self-motivated

  • Good language skill in English is essential

  • Chinese speaking preferred

  • Full-time work rights in Australia

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term, Casual

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
