SEQ Transport & Pallets is a family owned & operated business. Our management team has a combined 50+ years experience in the transport industry, specialising in linehaul & oversize freight with a commitment to service quality.

We are seeking an experienced MC local driver, Brisbane/Gold Coast based to support our national linehaul operations. Typical duties include trailer drop off and collection within the Brisbane & Gold Coast Metro area, loading and unloading of trailers, load restraint and dog runs to Gatton.

Opportunity exists to break up the routine of local work with the occasional east coast linehaul trip at $50.80 per hour plus allowances. Hourly rate for local work is $39.50.

The Role:

Key requirements:

  • Hold current unrestricted MC Drivers License
  • 2 years HC or MC experience
  • Proven safe driving record & safe work ethic
  • Good understanding of CoR & road transport legislation
  • Securing loads in line with CoR requirements & on road checks
  • Completing pre-start checklists, safety & delivery documentation
  • Good communication & customer service skills
  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
