About the role
As a Finance Officer at Elite Strata Management NT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and operations of our rapidly growing business. Based in our Darwin office, this is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial accounting and reporting within the strata management industry.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and processing financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Providing financial support to the strata management team, including budget analysis and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably within the strata management or property industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using financial accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
