The Gardeners Corner Store is an established business that has been operating in the Bayside area for over 30 years. We have an online nursery, garden maintenance and landscape division.

We have a unique position available for an experienced full time, part time or casual gardener/horticulturalist.

The position involves the following:

  • One off garden visits (pruning, hedging, feeding, planting, mulching)
  • Quarterly garden visits (pest & disease control, pruning, hedging, feeding, mulching)
  • Weekly garden visits (mowing, edging, blowing, planting, feeding etc.)
  • Soft Landscaping (planting, mulching, irrigation, instant turf)

The successful candidate will meet the following key criteria:

  • Certificate in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens (or equivalent on the job experience)
  • 2+ years practical experience in the field
  • Sound knowledge of plants and their growing habits
  • Drivers license
  • Ability to drive with a trailer (preferred)
  • Well presented with excellent people skills (you will be dealing directly with clients)
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Ability to time manage and prioritise
  • You will be punctual, honest, reliable and passionate about horticulture
