The Opportunity - About the Role

Apply your expertise and skills to grow as an Assistant Development Manager as part of a high-performing and energetic team within Stockland. Working closely with Development Managers and Senior Development Managers, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple medium density projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Development Manager to ensure the Project is scoped, designed, and delivered in accordance with the business strategy, agreed vision and to ensure schedule, revenue and cost objectives are met.
  • Support project delivery to ensure schedule, revenue and cost objectives are met;
  • Drive the sales and marketing activities to achieve the business plan objectives;
  • Assist with the management of design development and review against relevant design standards;
  • Engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including authorities;
  • Assist with financial plans, preparation and awarding of contracts, and securing of relevant approvals.
  • Assist with end of project/process review to identify strengths and areas for improvement, then integrate past experiences with innovative possibilities to business outcomes.
  • Procurement and payment of consultants, contractors and suppliers;
  • Monitoring market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness;

About You

  • Tertiary qualified in Property/Development will be highly regarded
  • Prior relevant experience in property in either a development, project management, property valuation, engineering, planning or analysis capability
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter;
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving customer focused outcomes;
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration;
  • Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills;
  • Resilience and excellent communication skills;
  • Driving license essential
