About the role

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you'll be a key part of the project management team responsible for the successful delivery of solar projects from financial close through to handover. You'll monitor and support site-based contractor activities to ensure a strong focus on:

  • Health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Adherence to technical specifications
  • Quality assurance
  • Schedule compliance

This is a project-based role requiring close collaboration with EPC contractors, owner's engineers, technical advisors, and network service providers.

Duties

  • Support the construction process across all technical aspects, including site works monitoring, QA documentation, HSE, and reporting
  • Promote and monitor a strong site health, safety and environmental culture
  • Interface with contractors, engineers, technical advisors, and NSPs, ensuring positive working relationships
  • Monitor and report on technical performance, construction schedule, logistics, and procurement
  • Support the Project Manager across technical aspects during construction, works completion and PAC
  • Coordinate and manage technical advisors when onsite
  • Review EPC contractor activities for compliance with technical specifications and contract requirements

Skills/experience

  • 2-5 years' experience in the solar PV industry (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of PV generating technologies and components (modules, inverters, trackers, structures, electrical systems, transformers etc.)
  • Understanding of EPC/O&M contracts, particularly technical appendices
  • Experience with large-scale solar PV plants, working with developers, EPCs, or technical advisors
  • Familiarity with the main players in the industry (suppliers, EPCs, advisors, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Full driver's licence

  • Able to prioritise workload effectively and work independently
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Team-oriented and able to promote a positive working culture
