Position: OSHC Coordinator of:
- Before and After School Montessori Programs for 3-year-olds to 6-year-olds
- OSHC for 6 years to 12-year-olds
Term: Permanent Part-time (Negligible for the right candidate)
Hours: 25 hours per week during term-time, 1pm - 6pm Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours during school holidays.
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: Level 7, $37.90 to $40.07 per hour, in accordance with the Children's Services Award 2010, based on qualifications and experience.

About the Role
Brisbane Montessori School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator to lead our OSHC and Vacation Care programs for Children's House and Primary-aged students.
This leadership role involves planning and supervising the daily operations of the OSHC service, guiding a small team of educators, managing compliance and administrative responsibilities, and ensuring the program reflects Montessori values. You will collaborate closely with school leadership to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and families.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or Registered EY Teacher
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Registered with PRODA and eligible to act as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NQF, NQS, and My Time, Our Place framework
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications or willing to obtain
- Familiarity with SmartCentral or similar childcare management platforms is desired
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proven experience in OSHC program development, compliance, and meal preparation
- High-level time management and the ability to work independently
- Commitment to delivering inclusive, developmentally appropriate programs
- Willingness to collaborate on the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement weekly and term-based OSHC programs aligned with My Time, Our Place
- Lead and mentor a small OSHC team, including regular team communication and support
- Communicate regularly with families and support strong community engagement
- Oversee enrolments, child records, and ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and A&R standards
- Source and maintain resources and equipment for the program
- Manage program resources, equipment, and OSHC budget, including food purchasing and safety
- Coordinate staff rosters and relief coverage.
