Position Type: Contract

Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to a 22-year-old male client with disabilities.
  • Assist the client in daily activities, meal preparation, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and incidents.
  • Write comprehensive reports on client behavior, progress, and any incidents.
  • Offer therapeutic support to the client, promoting their well-being and independence.
  • Ensure compliance with all NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) mandatory worker requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 months of relevant experience working with youth.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic approaches and techniques (preferred).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. and active
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • First Aid and CPR certification .
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • NDIS certificates
  • At least Certificate III in relevant field
  • Other needed documents

Working Hours:

Available for at least 20 hours per week on a variety of shifts.
