ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual looking to commence a career in the airport industry. Reporting to Council's Airport Customer Service Team Leader , this position will support the provision of high quality customer service to customers utilising the services of the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, including directing and assisting passengers and visitors within the airport terminal, kerbside and carpark. A focus of the role will be to assist to undertake cleaning duties to ensure a high level of cleanliness standard in the airport terminal, administration and carpark.

As a Trainee Airport Facilities Officer you will be studying a Certificate III in Business which is estimated to take up to 13 months to complete. Click here for further information of what you will be studying.

The rewards

• A salary paid in line with the Local Government (State) Award. Dependent upon your age and when you completed high school, the weekly salary range is $601 to $947 (plus 12% superannuation).
