We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Security Officers to join our team based in Townsville, in Far North Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic shift environment, offering a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts where every day presents new challenges. You will be responsible for providing high-quality security services that align with our mission to create safer communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and premises
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and monitor CCTV systems
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms swiftly and professionally
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to visitors
  • Prepare incident and daily activity reports
  • Enforce centre rules and regulations in a courteous manner

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations (required)
  • Current and valid Security Licence (required)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (required)
  • Valid CPR Certificate (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and presentable demeanour
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicts tactfully
  • Previous experience is highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
