Salary Package: From $86,087 - $97,879 (HEW Level 5) plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loadingAppointment Type: Full-time, continuing roleBased at Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North RydeAbout the RoleThe Human Research Ethics Administrator will provide administrative support to the operations of the HREC and the Manager (HREC).Key ResponsibilitiesTriage enquires (via e-mail, phone or in person) and respond to straight forward enquiries, re-directing or escalating where complex or appropriateArranging and coordinating HREC meetings, events, training sessions and functions including arranging meetings, room bookings, catering, agenda and materials preparation, minute taking, and providing other administration support where required.Providing Administration support for Ethics Secretariat and Human Research Ethics Manager (HREC). This includes administrative changes to approved ethics applications and correspondence on ethics applicationsMonitor and review approved ethics applicationsProcessing invoices and payingAssist with the preparations of reports to the University and Government authoritiesActively contribute to the improvement of Human Research Ethics Committee administrative processes.About YouYou're a reliable team player with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience who thrives in collaborative environments, balancing tight deadlines and competing priorities while supporting team goals.About UsResearch Services is responsible for the management of research that takes place at Macquarie University or is conducted by University staff.
