Having expanded with new contracts and across multiple states, multiple opportunities have become available within AMR for experienced Registered Paramedics to work across a variety of disciplines including Event Medical Services, Motorsport events, Industrial Construction, Austere/Remote locations and Defence deployments.

As a result of several new key contracts, growing work demands and increasing client requests, AMR is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Paramedics to work across a range of service delivery platforms.

Essential Skills and Attributes :

  • Team player and self-directed individual

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including day / afternoon / night / weekend and public holidays
  • Able to work reasonable additional hours if required
  • A willingness to learn and ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential qualifications:

Registered Paramedics

  • Completed Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent
  • Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA

To be eligible for the role, applicants will be required to supply the following documents:

  • Current Resume and Cover Letter
  • Qualifications & Certificates (AHPRA Registration)
  • Current Class C Unrestricted Driver's License and safe driving record.
  • Evidence of current and updated vaccinations, including but not limited to Hep B, annual Influenza, MMR, Whooping Cough (Pertussis), Chickenpox (Varicella) and double COVID 19 vaccinations.
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Paid Employment Check

If successful, all applicants will also be required to complete the following pre-employment checks (at the cost of the employer):

  • Pre-Employment Medical Check and
  • Drug and Alcohol testing

AMR is also a well-established RTO providing training in a wide range of health orientated fields, such as CPR and First Aid, Non-Emergency Patient Transport, through to Diploma of Emergency Health Care, ALS, Drug and Alcohol testing with more courses on the horizon. Opportunities are available to expand your skills through our various accredited programs.

Remuneration is according to the Ambulance and Patient Transport Industry Award 2022 [MA000098].
