Novocastrian Electrical Contractors are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing team in 2026 as a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice

About the Role:

As an electrical apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills necessary to become a qualified electrician. This is a full-time position with the potential for ongoing employment upon completion of your apprenticeship.

What you'll be doing

·       Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of

electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

·       Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

·       Gaining experience in the safe and proper use of electrical tools and equipment.

·       Completing on-the-job training and attending vocational education classes to obtain

your electrical certification.

·       Participating in team-based projects and contributing to the overall success of the

business.

What We're Looking For:

·       Strong interest in the electrical trade

·       Positive attitude and willingness to learn

·       Good communication and teamwork skills

·       White Card (or willingness to obtain)

·       Driver's licence (Manual preferred but not essential)
