Join our friendly kitchen team at Cooroy RSL, nestled in the Noosa Hinterland and known for all-day dining at ANZAC's Restaurant and our coffee shop. You'll help deliver great food alongside live music, trivia, bingo, and other club buzz.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook a range of dishes for all-day dining and functions
- Where required, estimate food/labour costs, order supplies, monitor dish quality
- Enforce hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
- When necessary, train and supervise kitchen staff and apprentices
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and operations
- Preserve and manage food stock where needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or AQF Associate Degree in Commercial Cookery; and
- At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Positive team attitude and reliability
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
