Do you believe in connection, consistency and genuine care? So do we. Care Compass Collective is a small but dedicated disability support provider supporting participants on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads. We specialise in psychosocial and mental health support, helping participants live more independently, confidently and meaningfully. Our approach is person-centred, practical and focused on outcomes. We focus on what really matters to each participant, whether that is daily living, community access or skill-building.
We provide high-quality disability and community support in participants' homes and in the wider community. Our team works in partnership with each person to build skills, confidence and independence while fostering connection and inclusion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be a key part of helping people achieve their goals, develop life skills and feel more connected to their communities. Your work will involve providing personalised disability and community support in participants' homes and out in the community. This could include assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying participants to appointments or social activities, and offering encouragement, guidance and companionship. Every interaction you have can make a real difference, helping participants gain confidence, try new experiences and feel a sense of control and independence in their lives.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, reliable and genuinely enjoy supporting others. Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in disability, mental health or community support, but we welcome applications from people who are new to the sector and eager to learn.
You may have qualifications or experience in mental health, psychology, nursing, community services, or disability support, and you bring empathy, patience and adaptability to your work. Strong communication skills, a person-centred approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
You are motivated by helping people achieve their goals, and you value building trust, confidence and connection with participants. You understand that every person is different, and you are flexible and creative in your approach to support.
